An early work and a clear statement ...

Artistically, I stand firmly on the Modigliani / Picasso side of the fence.Their many beautiful nudes would look laughable without the dark contrast and definition that pubic hair gives to a woman's body. Historically, pubic hair was frowned upon in works of art until the advent of photography in the mid 1850s. Since then it flourished in every artistic medium until the 1990s.

For the time being, it seems we live in a neo-classical, pubeless age. I have even seen a Modigliani ...used in a hair removal advert!
